Hello pretty

I shot this quick landscape outside my friend Steph S's bedroom today. It's... kind of a nice view.

Home: Chris

Hi everyone! Thought I'd have a break from posting fashion photos from the Henryetta shoot, here are some from my media photography social documentary about people and their homes.
The idea behind 'Home' was that your home is not necessarily the place where you live, but the place where you feel most comfortable, the place where you can really be yourself.

So, I'll just post the photos I took of my good friend Chris (a fellow photographer, who you can check out here). He lives in this stunning country house that belongs to his family. When I came to take his photo it was about 7am and there was this lovely fog around and I just fell in love with this house. Also, it's called 'Why Worry' so... that sort of wins it for me.

Oh, and here you can see the final product of this project - it might take a while to load but hopefully it's worth it :)

One of my college subjects this trimester was one big project where we had to work with a business to take photos for them (as if we were in the 'real world' and they were our clients. I chose to find an emerging fashion designer, because I'm interesting in fashion photography and I thought it would be a good outlet for my creativity! (Which is why Im interesting in fashion?)

Anywho, it was a huge 15 week project involving a HUGE photoshoot that with travel and everything took about 15 hours.. but it's done! I have quite a lot of photos I'd like to show so I'll start by doing about 10 at a time :)

The fashion designer I collaborated with was Melissa from Henryetta, an eco friendly fashion designer (yay!)

I'm saving some of my favourites for later posts, so keep an eye out, and I'd love to hear what you think!! :)

Oh, and don't forget to check out!

Hi all! So we had a Media Photography major assignment where we had to do a social documentary on a topic of our choice. I chose to have a look at the topic of 'Home' - home being the place that someone is most comfortable at, somewhere you can truly be yourself. And I did this by photographing a bit of an eclectic mix of homes!

It's an interactive PDF which is run on flash... and I'm not sure this will work but we'll see. Please tell me if it's not working for you! Annd I'll probably upload just the photos eventually too.

Would love to hear what you guys think! :)

You can view it... here!

(It might take a little while to load)

Here's a little taster of what you'll see!

forbidden fruit

Hi everyone! Wow, I feel like I haven't blogged in so long. I have been soooo busy with college. I have had an assignment every day this week, and not just little assignments but major assignments. It's been stressful. But it's practically over now, and I'm quite happy with some of the projects I did this term!

I thought I'd show these photos from my visual communications assignment. We had to make a 3d model out of photos, but the 3d model itself wasn't particularly good... but the photos are alright! :p

We had to choose a topic out of a few we were given for this, I chose 'food and lust', and made a little concept out of that... but anyway, you can figure that out for yourself if you want to :p
