super macros

I just learnt this new technique called the 'Reverse Lens Technique'. If you've never heard of it then google it, there are millions of tutorials on doing it (I use the one where you use 2 lenses). And this is the result! I'm still honing the skills obviously, as it's so difficult to get the right focus because you can only doing it by moving in and out from the subject. And I have a shakey hand.

Any who, feast your eyes if you love close ups!

A raspberry. It looks like it's made up of tiny cherries!

A water droplet. Freaaaky. I don't think it's quite infocus, but still cool.

The tag for the punnett of raspberries I bought. Freaky!

raspberry

I love raspberries. I grew up on a raspberry farm until it dried out, and I think that because of that raspberries are an instant relaxant for me or something.

This raspberry was not as good the ones from when I was growing up, and I've made it my mission to find raspberries that are that amazing.

Yum.

Dairy farmers

Greg and I went to Bathurst just before Christmas to take some pictures. There was an old dairy farmers building, a lot of graffiti and broken glass, and some photos.

billboards

On a less photographically sound note - funny signs make me smile. A lot.

mint

These mints are called 'Hollywood Make-Out Mints' but I just like them because they're pretty.

Wild flowers

This motley crew of flowers I found in Rotorua, New Zealand makes me happy inside.
So does http://www.picnik.com. I don't have photoshop on the computer I put most of my photos on (smart, I know) so picnik helps a lot.

Tanglewood

This door makes me smile, and so does the person infront of it.

She also makes me laugh hysterically.
